Hannele Sontheimer
5 March 1835 - 30 May 1843
Hannele's father, Moses Loeb Sontheimer,
was a poor peddler but a well-respected member of Jebenhausen's Jewish
community. His first and his second wife died young in childbed. Of his
fourteen children, only eight survived the first year - including Hannele,
a child from his third marriage who died when she was eight, and her famous
half-brother, would-be opera singer Heinrich Sontheim.
